minis name....... Smiffy
One of 300 Paul Smith ltd editions.

minis name.......
An Old English White mini 40.
minis name.......
A ltd edition 35 with air con. This one was built for export but I bought it before it went. The dials had to be changed back to British (Kilometer's back to Miles). I have now a trailer made from a back of a mini for it in the same colours.
Here it is.

minis name....... Ahh Kid.
Ahh kid is a 1997 British racing green twin point injection, but has had over the years a few modification's. I bought Ahh Kid in April 2001 from a lad in Cannock who deals in cars. One lady owner an with only 10500 miles on the clock. I joined the RMOC a few months later at there first show, The Midlands mini Fest held in Redditch. The Few mods that have been done to Ahh Kid are Right hand fuel tank, heavy duty sump guard, Recardo seats (out of a rover 400), Orange subframes, stainless DTM 2" twin bore exhaust, Superlite 5x12 alloys, titanium wheel nuts, Spax adjustable shocks, Cad quick shift gear stick, heated front window screen the list goes on.......... The engine has been bored out to a 1293cc with cooper s pistons, 274 Kent cam, 1.5 roller rocker set, duplex timing gear, fly wheel has been lightened an balanced and the head has been polished an ported. It kicks out 87bhp. Body work looks a bit ruff, a reshell is planed for the future.

minis name....... Bigun
Hows this for a beast then!! A friend (yes I do have them) rang me one Sunday and asked me for my E-mail address. He had found something on Ebay that I might like..... Well yes I did like it and I bought it. I collected it the following weekend from just out of Norwich. The mini body shell is based on a Suzuki sj 410 4x4 jeep but with modifications. Normally the back brakes are drums, it has discs. The axles are bolted under the leaf springs usually on top this gives it the extra height. I could list all that has been done but I won't, see for your self at the shows. I had a problem thanks to a jobs worth when I went to get it MOTed he wasn't to happy on the way it was registered as a Suzuki soft top so with help from a mate Dickie Brenton we manged to get inspected by DVLA an change the way it was registered. I was told by DVLA that I can't call it a Suzuki or a mini!! The make of care is now..... Maine, Yes that's right I have the only one in the world named after me WHOPPEE...The one thing it needs now is love an attention to bring it up to scratch. Plans for the future A LOT!!!!!

minis name....... Elmo
Elmo is a 1986 mini Jet Black limited edition. I have had it for 4 years now (I think!!). Modifications: It has a set of customized black revolutions wheels that were kindly painted by Brett Harris... Ta mate they look awesome!!! The front brake disc's are cut and grooved and with Mintex pads, she stops fcuking quick. Fully Polly bushed front end and high lows front and back. The engine is a 1000cc block with a 266 cam, increased compression ratio (can only run it on super unleaded because it kills the spark plugs), double valve springs, lightened flywheel and a turbo clutch. When it was set on the rolling road it had 52bhp, so not to bad for a 1000. Interior: New black leather seats with red pipping, new carpet and centre console both following the black and red theme. Still to do: I have a set of red mudflaps, arches, shocks to fit also a few more tweaks to do to the engine. Hopefully a new front end is planed for as the rust is fighting through... DAMM RUST GERRRRRRR.
I have done a few track days at Castle Combe once in the wet and loved it. Not only with other minis, I did one this year (08) with a mix of classic cars.... fantastic!! There are plans to do more. I also have done the quarter mile at Avon race way Longmarston for the past 2 years. This year I broke the 20 second barrier. Elmo has been on the Mini World Riviera run (Nr Newquay Cornwall) 3 years on the trot, once with a split head gasket and survived....ish!!!
